Dj Vapour:
1 - sleepthief - chauffer (vapour remix) - dub - this is a remix i did for kirsty hawkshaw and her producer justin the original track is actually a duran duran record from back in the day kirsty and justin under their sleeptheif alias did a new version for release and via a recomendation through a mutual friend they asked me to do a remix for them. it was a wicked track to work on as the sleep thief mix was wicked and kirsty is an amazing singer (she used to be the singer for opus 3 who did the rave anthem "fine day" back in the day aswell as working with tiesto) im really happy with the mix as it is probably the first track ive finished that ive been happy with the mixdown

2 - roughcut - trojan horse - dub - ive been supporting roughcut for a few months now after jamal told me i should check his beats out he has a knack of making extreamly heavy dancfloor tunes ive been playing about 8 of his tunes in my sets over the last few months. l double has signed him to flex and has a whole heap of stuff coming out over the next few months definatly going to be massive this year

3 - dj vapour - shut up - dread dub - i made this one in 3 hours one afternoon i had all the samples ready to roll and just smashed it out just a quick little intro which cuts over to some ragga vox then into a rolling bass line track should be out on function sometime later this year

4 - menacer - mean dub (vapour v.i.p) - 36th chamber recordings dub - something that we were lucky enough to pick up for the 2nd release on the 36th chamber record label i had been playing this in every set for several months when i found out menacer still hadnt found a home for it i asked him if i could pick it up for our label as it works wicked for what we want to do with the label as there is this mix and then the "choppage" mix which has re edited drums to give it a proper 95 jungle style both mixes are going to be joined with a dubstep relick aswell should be out at the end of aug

5 - skink - autopsy (vapour remix) - momt dub - this is a remix ive just finished for a artist called skink. we absoloutely loved his debut album (skink by skink) and asked him if he would like to do a remix for us for on a future release he in return asked me to do one of his album tracks for a download on the labels site (http://www.momt.co.uk/) this was a wicked challenge for me as the original track actually has no drums or percussion it was just one massive soundscape so with the remix i tried to make it have a huge wide sound scape in the main mix with loads of huge panning and sounds split all over the stereo image. skink has a real talent for creating a musical world in his tracks you can listen to his music and drift away completely i think he is destined to be massive check out the label website (http://www.momt.co.uk/) to hear his album and purchase the tracks via digital download

6 - jem one - lithium - rufige dub - definatly my fav artist at the min coventry based artist jem one came to me last year for a remix for his label and kept sending me killer tunes ive been working closely with him to build him up for his debut release on 36th chamber recordings this track lithium is my fav from the last few months and one of the ones i sent to goldie (who promtly signed 4 tracks off him for rufige) and has been getting hammered in my sets for months. jem one is hopefully going to feature alot on 36th chamber recordings over the next couple of years i think he has massive potential and probably one of the most original sounding new skool producers ive found yet

7 - dj vapour - razor bladez - 31 records dub - something i made last year on a more experimental vibe i wanted to make something with the heavyest bassline i could make so i fired up the distortion plug ins an rolled this one out i dont play this out much as ive yet to find a sound system that can hit the low freqenceys properly on it. doc scott snapped it up for 31 records and it should be hitting the streets very very soon with brain and body on the flip

8 - dj vapour - make em bleed - 36th chamber recordings dub - first release on the label from myself i had allready made mr mingus which we knew we were going to put on the first release so i sat down and made the most opposite track to mr mingus as possible with some nasty reece samples and a stinkingly deep sub bass line its been getting hammered by everyone from fabio to hype will be out in early may with a mikey deviant breaks remix aswell

9 - dj vapour - mr mingus - 36th chamber recordings - dub - the a side on the first release i originally made this to take the piss and make something completely different to my usuall vibe and its blown up we have just finished filming a video for it which should be edited and out and about soon. im really proud of this track as i tried to make it sound like it was played by a band rather than "programmed" and i think i achieved just that ive had a few other producers asking me who played the drums so they obviously sound like they were played live hopefully it will be something that people ill want to listen to at home aswell as in a club
