What The Winner Gets?

All tracks will be listened to by a panel Dj's & Producers, there will be 4 runners up whos track will also have air time but not for aslong as the winning track. The winner's track will also be posted on the site and on various forums. A sample of their track will be available to check out with contact details to the Artist.

PLEASE NOTE THE JUDGES WILL BE NAMED BEFORE COMP STARTS AND NEITHER JUDGES CAN ENTER!!!

The Prizes -

1st Prize will get - 3 months streaming On Kunninmindz!!!.

2nd Prize will get - 1 months streaming on kunninmindz!!!.

3rd Prize will get - 3 weeks streaming on kunninmindz!!!.

4th Prize will get - 1 weeks streaming on kunninmindz!!!.

The track that is voted the best will have a 30sec sample of there track on the stream every 2 hours or everytime a listener connects or re-connects to the stream. This will happen for more than every hour of every day as everytime somebody connects or a change of shows takes place. This could be for weeks or even months depending on where your track finishes.

Your Track.

To ensure you have the best chance of winning select your best track and prepare to do some wild things with a jingle of Dj's N Mc's and Record Labels. You must edit/mix this jingle into your track which you will have until 19th May to complete. When you have finished your track - you must then send it in to kunninmindz and then all results will be released a week after the competition ends.

What u need to do.

-You need to first sort yourself a track out
-visit the kunninmindz.com forums and register to access the post (will be clearly visable)
-Download the jingle which will be mp3 format
-Get creating and do your magic
-Send your track into comp@kunninmindz.com along with contact details, name, age, length producing, and a little bit about yourself, and a picture of yourself.
-You will then recieve a email of confirmation and big ups.
-the email to send in your tracks will be open tomorrow 24th march and close 19th May 2006
-the results will be posted on the forums and emails will be send

2006 is looking like it's gonna be a good year for Cyantific. With their debut album GHETTO BLASTER dropping like it's hot in spring, featuring collabs with MATRIX, LOGISTICS and DIANE CHARLEMAGNE expect big things!

these freelance Cyantists hail from the far flung reaches of South-West London. Jon & Matt have been making harsh tasty beats together since high school and were gathered up into the Hospital fold in summer 2002, after a tip off from High Contrast. With a series of 12"s, remixes and compilation appearances helping to build their diehard underground fanbase.

In 2005 they released "DON'T FOLLOW" a storming fast soul classic which featured the vocal talents of the legendary DIANE CHARLEMAGNE, this brought their sound to a new audience and has remained in the boxes of many A-list d&b jocks ever since.

Following on from the huge sucess of Ghetto Blaster, the incredible debut LP from Hospital’s resident lab lizards. Cyantific have built up a heavyweight underground following over the last couple of years and have been causing a major stir in d&b with a debut album which truly pushes the boundaries of the Hospital sound.

Hospital Records and Drum & Bass Arena have teamed up for an Exclusive Remix Competition - Your chance to remix Cyantific's Flashback.

Rules
1. Download the sample pack here: DOWNLOAD ZIP FILE / DOWNLOAD RAR FILE (You will need either WinZip or WinRar)
2. Create your own remix of the track, using the samples provided.
3. You may use your own sounds as well - BUT ALL SAMPLES MUST BE COPYRIGHT FREE.
4. Submit your audio. It must be high-quality.
Acceptable formats: Audio CDs, at least 192kbps compressed audio file (e.g. an MP3) on a data CD

A kiadó célja, hogy egy nyitott pályázat keretein olyan tehetséges magyar művészeket, zenészeket gyűjtsön össze születendő égisze alá, akik érett, egyedi és különleges hangzásvilággal próbálnak elobbre törni a mai könnyűnek egyáltalán nem mondható elektronikus zenei szcénában, fő profilként tekintve az epic, deephouse, tech, minimal, experimental és ambient stílusokat és stíluselemket.
A közeljövőben megjelenő szerzemények semmilyen módon nem kerülnek kereskedelmi forgalomba /mp3 illetve wav formátumban lesznek elérhetőek és ingyenesen letölthetőek az IAM Recordings hivatalos weboldalán/. A fő szempont a mi köreinkben elsősorban a magyar tehetségek felfedezése és egy csokorba gyűjtése, másodsorban a megfelelő promóció és a szakmai jövő biztosítása.
Felhívjuk a figyelmet, kiadónk non-profit jellegű kezdeményezés, egy jó adag küldetéstudattal a zsebünkben próbálunk meg a magunk módján "szembeszállni" a minőségileg és tartalmilag egyre inkább elszegényedő szerzeményekkel és szerzőkkel.

A művész szellemi termékét ingyen és bérmentve ajánlja fel a szervezet számára, abból a célból, hogy a kiadó az előadó szakmai előmenetelét képességeihez és lehetőségeihez mérten biztosítsa.

Pályázati nevezés:

- a pályázati munkákat audió formátumban, CD-n kell eljuttatni hozzánk
- a CD-re írva szerepelnie kell /jól olvashatóan!/ a művésznévnek, a dalok címének és időtartamának, a pályázó telefonszámának és e-mail címének
- a pályamunkákat gondosan lezárt légpárnás borítékban kérjük eljuttatni a lent megadott postacímre
- feltétel a magyar állampolgárság

Kizárás:
- ha a nevezésben feltüntetett kiritériumoknak nem felel meg a beküldött pályamű
- 18 év alatti pályázónak a sikeres elbírálás esetén szülői engedély szükségeltetik a további részvételhez
- amennyiban a pályamű stílusát tekintve merőben eltér a fent említettektől, sajnálatos módon bármennyire jó az adott darab, nem tudjuk figyelembe venni
- ha pályamű remix vagy feldolgozás /bootleg/ az azonnali kizárást eredményez, ezért erősen ajánlott, hogy csakis jogtiszta hangmintákkal dolgozz!

Remix Synthvox - Vocal Remix Contest.

This contest will allow you the opportunity to show off your skills composing and remixing for vocals. This is how it's done downtown folks. We will supply a 50mb packet of vocals loops and vocal samples. You will produce a chart topping hit using 3 of the loops or samples from the supplied pack.

What is Synthvox? A community of music enthusiasts from all over the world. Meet and talk with people who have common interests in computer based music, sound cards, music production, wav files, loops, software, sound design, editing, free sound samples, remix contest, etc. Visit SYNTHVOX HERE

About the artists:

The vocals in the Synthvox Remix pack were performed and produced by Jason Donnelly and Carla Starla.

Jason Donnelly (aka Dj Puzzle) is known internationally for his production work on many of the Loops For ACID CDs for Sonic Foundry's ACID software (now Sony's Screenblast ACID). Dj Puzzle's Scratch Tactics, ACID DJ 3.0, Designer Dance Tools, and Trance Solid NRG are just a few of the ACIDized Loops For ACID titles which have been produced by the team of Dj Puzzle and Bernard Turek, otherwise known as Peace Love Productions.

Carla Starla - If you live in Chicago and are into any type of electronic music, you have heard Carla Starla or at least have heard of her. Her music career started way back in Nebraska, growing up with different crowds from punk to house, to hip hop and drum and bass. Carla moved to Chicago twelve years ago and started projects
like The Stereotypes with Damon Keller, working with Chicago's own DJ Mary Jane, Lunchbox Law of Stony Island, Julio Davis of J. Davis Trio, and Dj Puzzle just to name a few. Since then Carla took things in her own hands and has been spinning deep house and adding her own original live soulful vocals over her records.
You can also find her doing spiritual healings, or leading meditation sessions throughout the city, all things positive. Keep your ears open and eyes peeled and hearts open.
