A névbitorlások és hamisítványok után végre megérkezik Budapestre az eredeti Death Disco! London legizgalmasabb indie-klubestje Európában először nálunk indul be, havi rendszerességgel. A hivatalos magyarországi Death Disco estek helyszíne a Trafó Bár Tangó lesz, házigazdája pedig minden alkalommal a bulik szellemi atyja, Alan McGee. Róla dióhéjban csak annyit, hogy alaposan kivette a részét a brit független zene alakításában az elmúlt húsz évben: mint menedzser, producer és a Creation kiadó főnöke olyan zenekarok pályáját istápolta, mint The Jesus & The Mary Chain, Primal Scream, Oasis, Super Furry Animals. Jelenleg Poptones nevű kiadóját igazgatja, szabadidejében pedig kedvenc lemezeit játssza a Death Disco-ban. Ezt teszi mostantól nálunk is, havonta egyszer, amikor magával hozza Budapestre az eredeti klub szellemiségét és hangulatát, valamint a külön az ő felkérésére idelátogató zenészbarátait. Első alkalommal kedvenc magyar zenekara, a Londonban dolgozó The Puzzle lesz a vendég, a hazai színeket a Gumipop indie party-k dj-i, Pita és Gasman képviselik.
