Equinox (Scientific Wax, Bassbin, Inperspective)

Equinox igazi drum and bass veterán, hiszen már 1992 óta lemezmegjelenésekkel van jelen a jungle/dnb terepen. Mint oly sokan ebben a világban a dél-londoni fiú is a dub, soul, jazz, funk zenéken nevelkedett, később rákattant a Detroit technóra és acid housera. Később a rave korszak őt is beszippantotta, de mindig is jobban érdekelte a zenék ütemközpontúbb ága.
A '90-es évek elején szerzett egy Amigát és egy dobgépet, amivel zenét kezdett faragni. Megismerte Bizzy B-t, akivel zenélni kezdett, sőt live-act-ként is felléptek. Mániákusan mintázta a régi soul-funk számok dobjait egyre vadabb ritmusképleteket gyártva, folyamatosan változtatva stílusán. A dobok mindenek felett - vallja.
Időközben Equinox feltámasztotta Scientific Wax nevű kiadóját, ahol 11 év után ifjú védence, Breakage jegyezheti a második korongot. Equinox zenéi eközben az újonc Subtle Audio, az IDM védjegy Planet Mu és a drum and bass no.1 Metalheadz kiadóknál jelennek meg.

0=0 (Planet Mu, Synaptic Plastic)

A kanadai 0=0 alig pár éve bünteti jelenlétével a drumfunk/breakcore/IDM világot, mégis mondhatjuk, hogy megírta a drumfunk himnuszát 'In Your Eyes' címen. Ez és a középen ipari szaxofonfunkba váltó 'Soul Hunter Testifies' a két legismertebb 0=0 szám, de a feltehetően teljesen kattant torontói ontja magából a zenéket. Találkozhatunk vele a hardcore Tigerbeat6 labelen, a breakcore Dross:tik kiadó Brick Smack válogatásán, az amerikai underground drum and bass arc, Submerged Obliterati kiadójánál, és albuma Mike Paradinas aka Mu-Ziq kiadójánál, a Planet Mu gondozásában jelenik meg.
0=0 saját kiadóján csakúgy, mint zenéjében a sokszínűség érvényesül, jól megfér itt a techy/atmospheric ASC, a breakcore Enduser és a jungle reménység Stranjah.
